About
I have been in practice as a real estate attorney since 2005. I gravitated toward real estate in part because of my father, Allen M. Okamoto, who is a real estate broker in San Francisco, and partly because I like to help people resolve their real property problems. I received a B.A. in Integrative Biology from the University of California at Berkeley; a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law; and an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco Masagung Graduate School of Management. I am a licensed real estate broker and have published many articles on real estate law. My experience includes admission to all courts of the State of California, Federal court for the Northern District of California, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California. I have tried cases in San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, and Contra Costa Counties. I am the Chair of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee of the San Francisco Association of Realtors, and a member of the California Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. I am a former director and past-president of the Asian Real Estate Association of the East Bay. I am the President of the Board of Directors of the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California. I am a member of Business Networking International, Golden Ideas chapter. I am also a professional musician, and fan of the Giants, Sharks, 49ers, Warriors, and University of California Golden Bears. |
